I feel like this also fits in the "ending the lockdown" thread, because this is the Socially Distant Orchestra's final virtual performance. It's a reflection on everything we did in the past 15 months. Scattered throughout the backdrops are visual references to each of the SDO's 32 other videos, some obvious and others not so obvious. You'll see a tribute to the things we did while locked down and a look forward to the things that we're finally returning to. Watch it full-screen and in HD if you can.

It's obviously piano-centric, but all the same, it sums up the year for a virtual ensemble that I've thoroughly enjoyed being part of.

As with Pictures at an Exhibition, orchestra members rotated in and out during the piece. I played in the viola section from about 7:45 to 14:00 of the video.

@AndrewH -

Very nice, Andrew!

Always enjoyed Rapsody in Blue - can't love old musicals, or films about Broadway, without loving Gershwin!

Going to miss these virtual performances.

I am looking forward to your upcoming live performances, though.
