My chamber music club's winter concert just took place Sunday. Here's my quartet's performance:
It's mostly the same people as my group that played Mozart last June, but with a different violinist. This time, all three string players in the group learned our instruments as adults!
We played the first movement of the Rheinberger piano quartet, which was one of the most popular piano quartets in the repertoire for about 50 years but fell out of favor in the 1920s.

Thanks, everyone!
This one is extra special for me because of all three string players in the quartet being late starters. It's the first time I've had a performance with that kind of group recorded, and I think it's a real showcase of what's possible for adult learners. As I mentioned in a blog post, I'm actually the earliest starter of the string players in this group: the violinist started in her late 20s and the cellist started in his 40s.
