You play really well, @Anja. This second fiddle seems to have a stronger sound, unless you were closer to the mic. Neat to hear it played on both fiddles. They both sound really nice and you are doing a great job. I love that piece, and to hear it back to back by the same fiddler on different fiddles, that is very cool. Thank you.

The second fiddle is as loud as the first one irl, both have a strong sound.
I am actually pretty happy with this one, I never thought it was going to happen but this already souned pretty fiddle like.

@ELCBK Wow, 15 ways to practice Sail Away Ladies? I am not being funny here. I am serious. I really like that song played by Anja. It has a neat sound. It just blew me away there is a video with 15 ways to practice it. I don't know what it is. When I listened to it being played by @Anja, both times, I just loved it.

The "15 Ways" video has exercise suggestions good for anyone playing old time tunes. It's tips on how to get to know a little melody like this well enough to feel free to add some variation. ...just food for thought.
The Traditional Tune Archive has some great info on "Sail Away Ladies". It was made famous when "Uncle Bunt" Stevens won the Henry Ford World Fiddling Championship with this tune in 1926!
