I had to share this video because all along, I have been pushing and pushing him to show more ....well, something while he is playing. He loves the music but then all of the sudden a few weeks ago he was watching tiktok and heard a song he loved but didnt know the name of it. So I told him, downloaded the music for him and he practiced it by himself, no Dad involved because he wanted to surprise me. well not only did he surprise me with the first movement done so well, but watch as he..well, I dont know how to explain it other than he just gets into it a couple of times. I chuckled every time I watch it.

@ELCBK He is currently working on Shine You No More, which is a folk tune and to me, pretty darn close to fiddlin and he is loving it. He was sent the piece from the Envision Program he is attending in a couple weeks at the Bay Chamber Music School up here in Maine.

You finally got your hands on a Nordic tune! 🤗 Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen, violinist with the Danish String Quartet (among other things) composed "Shine You No More".
I have my own favorites by the Danish String Quartet, but haven't ever learned a whole piece. We've talked about their music several places in the Anyone Interested in a "Scandinavian Fiddle Genre"? Thread!
