Fingerstyle guitar and fiddle thing I did this evening. Kinda improvised on the fiddle some to keep it from being same each time through. Not sure how it worked but glad I messed with it some. Gave me a chance to pick back up on some stuff I had learned previously on guitar. Recorded that then fiddled.

@ABitRusty Great playing on this! Nice phrase shaping--I think the fingerstyle guitar lends itself to that well. I’ve always liked the County Down—and I’m partial to the 3/4 versions, too.

thanks @SharonC. yeah wasnt sure about doing both together but always thought about trying it. That guitar arrangement isnt one I did.. I learned it from a book and its more of a solo type deal so tried to be sparse with the fiddle. Fiddled more by feel as i played along. maybe a bit busy with it at the end..
Im like you I really like the 3/4 version.. the other seems more like a pub type song to me. Its not bad just a different feel.
