I learned this one a couple months ago or so as a "learn by ear" challenge... that's basically all I ever do anymore, so I challenged myself to see how fast I could learn it instead (was a fun challenge). I forget if I posted that video here, it's on my youtube, but isn't that great, lol.
Recently worked on it in my lessons with my fiddle teacher as an advanced workshop on it... still working on it, there is more I want to add in, but this is where I got after a month of no lessons (combo of teacher recording her album, and my nerve issue acting up for a few weeks, and other life stuffs).

Thats great playing! Love the tone you get! I think if you learn a tune by ear it sticks in the memory better! How long have youbeen playing you have great technique

One of the most enjoyable aspects on this forum is to be able to follow the progress of our members who have been around for a while. I remember when you first started playing Mandy, and you've come so far.

Playing by ear with a tune as complicated as that is an achievement in itself, and to actually make it sound great too, one talented bunny...I looked at it and thought wow....how cool, you!

As it goes, I am happy with how I did with this, but also hear where I could have added a little something to it. Been working a lot on varying my ornamentations but trying to get my dynamics more defined.
