Today I spent some time trying to get through Danny Boy without too many mistakes. I think I'm getting a little better at not hitting adjacent strings but still occasionally getting a bouncing bow and stray scratches and squeeks. Take your best shot...I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks.

WOW, what can I possible say to criticize THAT! It was awesome... the only thing left is to add that infamous vibrato and it'll be 100%.

Your timing is incredible and the notes... welll... WOW thumbs-up

It's awesome Kinda! Your position is so good, bow, finger etc. If I could play like you maybe my cats would stop hiding at the first note :p I was singing along on your video!

Applause! That is wonderful! You are really catching on fast. cheerleaderAnd I love that song, especially the G on the E string. I have been working on that one myself.  Good job!

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! Of course, I can see/hear the mistakes because I made them and know when they're coming. :)

I know that my teacher would say that my bow stroke was too short. I can see that more clearly viewing myself head-on. I can also hear that I need to pay more attention to tempo...that's what I'm supposed to work on this week.

As for vibrato, that's still down the road, I think.

Small steps...

Thanks for the feedback!
cheers

Self analysis is one of the best reasons to record and watch yourself play. The point is that you are doing a great job. We all have lot's to learn, can and will get better if we keep striving to learn.
Great job. Keep it up.
