Thanks Emily, I have been putting a real amount of work into the double stops, I have a little routine were I play , b and g, then slide up and play c and a, then d and b, then e and c, dont know what scale if any it is, but it works for me. I watched a bloke on you tube, he said always hit the bottom string first then slide the upper string till it sounds right, I find it extremely hard, like everything on fiddle, but it is starting to lodge in memory now. I only do the double stops for about 5 mins as I find I quickly start to go wrong any longer than that, think its the concentration.
On listening to it again greg was bang on, the second run through is a lot better, very ropey on the first one when I listen now, especially the vibrating right at the start, I got that completely wrong.
Cant beat a sunny day
