I posted this in my blog, but I wanted to Share. I am not looking for advice, which is why I chose, "Share" and not "Critique", just sharing what I have been working on. This is just audio.

Here is the Violin:

Here is the Viola

For what my plan is for using these, you will have to see my blog, I am just sharing the audio here,

I do love the sound that comes from these two instruments. This is the strongest I have played the viola. I have had to be away from it for a little while, but I am back again, now, Both Fiddlershop.

Thanks for sharing, @Mouse . Always glad to hear you play ! Both instruments do have a nice sound -- which also means you draw a nice sound from them. Curious now - I'll go see your blog.

Thanks, wtw. I hope it continues, if it is that I am drawing the sound out. I was playing with being more confident with the bowing and not "mousy" about it, 😂.

Thanks, ABitRusty.

I am hoping to pop up a recording more often this year. We will see how that goes!

Thanks, @stringy I am liking the sound I am beginning to get out of this violin and viola. I feel like I am a little stronger with the bowing, and really paid attention to my bowing with both, especially the E and A string.

@Mouse -

You are getting great tone from playing both your violin & viola!

There is actually an 'original' version of Auld Lang Syne that sounds great played along with the more 'popular' version.  Let me know if you are interested in learning about it.

I wish I could find a tune to play that's more 'good riddance', than 'farewell' to 2024.
