I have started a course to learn to play by ear. This is the first song I am working on, There are issues. I forgot an E. Oops!

I don't know why the audio has a skip, never happened before. It is in the middle.

This is a faster version of Britches Full of Stitches. This is the last one I will post in the Share a Video. I will post the final version here when I am done with it, I will just be updating my blog with new versions as I continue.

To listen to versions as I continue working on this, please check my

blog.https://fiddlerman.com/forum/f.....4/#p143240

This is discussed in post 680.

Thanks.

Thanks, @ABitRusty. It is hit and miss, a lot of misses!  ut, I have to get myself not to always play tunes like a ballad. Really think that not seeing the sheet music is helping, When I see all the black notes, ie 8th, 16th, etc, it blows my mind, even with a short ditty like this. I am sure the sheet music written for this speed would scare me off.

Also, being forced to play it slow with Hannah, also helps, immensely. WhenI hear a fast song, I always try playing it fast, and for the life me, I cannot slow it down, because it is meant to be fast! All these mind games to dodge.

Hannah, medium version is faster, this is almost there, but not quite, I am a tad slower. I will be working on this for a little longer. The E string, playing this fast, gives me issues.

I was feeling the "accents" when bowing,,or whatever it is called. I do believe I did need up strokes in a few spaces that I didn't quite make it, Bowing was a bit tougher at this speed. Like I said, I will work on this a bit kore before moving on.

The version in post 9 is the final Britches Full of Stitches. The one I did today, found in my blog, is not nearly as good as the one in Post 9, here. It is time to move on.

When I finish another in my blog, I will share the final version in this forum room. I haven't decided which one to do, yet.
