GregW - I couldn't stop laughing & it's not like I haven't seen a ton of funny animal videos! My Better Half didn't think it was funny at all, but he's got a pretty dry sense of humor.
I'm so twisted I sent it to all my friends...
To everyone else who's participated - I've really enjoyed your humor, too!

I have to say in this thread I’m probably that guy who laughs when everyone else stopped already. Because I don’t know all the English words I sometimes need just a little more time to think about the jokes.
Anyway, I like a lot of these kind of jokes as below. This wouldn't even work in my own language.

Why should a banana skin on the street remind you of music ?

In the chemistry class -
Teach: "So, class, what in your opinion is the closest thing to silver ?"
Student 1 : "Sir, although a precious metal, compared to others, like gold or palladium, it's relatively cheap - so - I don't really know, (pause...) I don't suppose they're close at all sir."
Student 2: "Sir, sir" ( snapping fingers )
Teach: "Yes?"
Student 2: "It has to be palladium or cadmium, from our knowledge of the periodic table. (pauses...) Sir, actually I think it might be copper and gold because they both have a single electron in the outer shell, making them good conductors of electricity, and for the same reason have high thermal conductivity as well sir."
Teach: Very good, very good both of you, but, the nearest thing to silver is
The Lone Ranger's backside

@ELCBK and others. True story. For many years, I did early morning weekend announcing for a college fm radio station. I did not know anything about the William Tell Overture so I tried a few moment samplings off mike and thought it acceptable for the audience of early risers (our station had thousands of classical mono LP’s, likely obtained as a tax write off with the advent of popular stereo record players).
Boy was I surprised during the “Lone Ranger” segment.

Reveille, you say?
One of the long-standing undergrad traditions at Caltech, my undergrad alma mater, is the playing of Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries as a 7am wake-up call every morning of finals week. Almost everyone blasts it at full volume throughout the undergrad houses. It was necessary because so many of us were notorious night owls.
Accordingly, a very closely related tradition at Caltech is: there are only two acceptable times to play the Ride of the Valkyries. One is 7am during finals week, the other is when marathoning the entire Ring Cycle. Play the Ride any other time, and you are extremely likely to be thrown into the nearest body of water or, if no pond or swimming pool is convenient, into a shower fully clothed.
And the association sticks for a long time. During the Apollo moon missions, in the absence of Earth's day/night cycle, NASA played music over the radio to wake the astronauts each day. When Caltech alumnus Harrison Schmitt was on the Apollo 17 mission, some fellow alum at Mission Control decided to slip the Ride into the lineup of wake-up music as a practical joke. Reportedly Schmitt woke up in a panic the day it was played, his heart rate and blood pressure shooting through the roof.

AndrewH, Irv -aaaahhh... memories!
Only mine are 1979, "Apocalypse Now". I doubt there's a Huey crew chief/mechanic (or pilot for that matter) alive who wouldn't WANT to wake to Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries"... and we'd have a contented smile on our face!
I might feel different if I'd been enlisted during the Vietnam war - but I wasn't!
PS. Der Ring des Nibelungen?
