Before you ask, Thomas does NOT want to go to his teacher for advice because she always picks pieces that are either too slow and uninteresting. Having said that, I would like to ask you all(there I go again, sounding like a Southerner, hahahaha)your ideas on some pieces for Thomases competitions this year. He needs to have 2 more pieces. He selected his contemporary piece, Souvenir by Drdla and now he needs 2 pieces, each from a different era(Romantic, Renaissance, Baroque or Classical) with each being in a different style. Cannot go over 8 minutes for both combined, so it can be any movement. But understand, he LOVES to be challenged so it would need to be an advanced piece and the fast one just that...fast and fun. He thrives on a toe tapping tune(too bad they dont allow fiddlin music). Boy I have spent hours and hours searching and am having a wicked hard time. I have found 2 but I dont know if Thomas will like them but it will give you a sense of what interests him. They are the allegro movements in Seitz Violin Concerto in G major, op. 13 or D major, Seitz violin concerto No. 4 in G major, RV310 and Haydn Violin Concerto No. 4 in G major, first movement.
Boy anything anyone can come up with would sure save me a lot of headache and time. I appreciate the thoughts and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

@JimandThomas A couple of ideas--
Romantic:
Rieding, Oskar Concertino op.21 in A minor in Hungarian style, 1st mvmt (this example runs 4:20)
Baroque:
One of the Telemann 12 Fantasias for Solo Violin (TWV 40.14).
Links to a couple of the Allegro movements that Thomas may not find as boring They are shorter ones (around 2min each).
(all movements are in video, with all links in video description on the YouTube page)
Telemann's violin fantasia in Allegro B Flat Major (at time 2:23):
Allegro D Maj (at time 20:27):
Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words.
