There's a free sheet music software that you can download online! I downloaded it and it's really fun!

You can download it here:

http://musescore.org/

You can also upload your music and see other people's music at musescore.com. smile

People have put sheet music for pretty much everything on there. My username is MustangHorse there if anyone wants to look at my music.

Good one, Mustang.  Musescore is what I use these days when I want to do just a little midi or score a quick few notes.  It works well, once you get used to it.

As a plus, it is also cross-platform!  Which means one doesn't usually have to ask what operating system someone uses before recommending it, since it will run on all the common ones.  A lot of music software is "Windows only" or "Mac only", and cross-platform software that is actually good and useful is hard to find.  Well, especially for free..

Thanks Mustang. This may work out better than Finale notepad. Notepad doesn't have things like grace notes and quite a few other things that this has.
