Aloha everyone,
I got a little inspired by a tune I've heard Kevin Burke play, so I went on a tangent to create "At the County Faire". It's not nearly as intricate as what he played, but I like the rhythm of his piece and incorporated it into mine. I haven't written any accompaniment yet. I'm still undecided as to whether or not I'll add any to it. It sounds nice the way it is, at least to me. I've included the audio produced by MuseScore so that you can hear it before you try it. I hope y'all enjoy it.
One other thing - I can't seem to get MuseScore to play all the repeats after the D.S. al Coda. It is my intention that when this is play, all repeats are also played after you return to the Segno.

Aloha @VickieD,
Wow! That was really nice. I just wish I had your intonation. Actually, I kind of suck at string crossings as well, but I'm getting better. I've only been playing for three months, but have been writing in music for much longer. I'm really glad that you liked it enough to post a video. Don't forget to ask @Fiddlerman for a video badge
I have another tune I've just finished, at least for now, that I'll post. I'm probably going to be going back to add a viola or maybe a cello/bass fiddle. My background is in piano/keyboards, but I'd like to add more strings. I think I saw on one of the Group Projects that we had at least one cello player, and I know we have a viola player, so I don't want to leave anyone out. I'm just not that used to the idea of writing for four parts. My previous compositions were for solo piano. Anyway, check the Share section and I'll post my latest tune as soon as I get it to a more polished appearance.

Aloha again @VickieD,
I have a YouTube channel, with only two videos, but I would like to post your video to my YouTube channel, if you don't mind. You play a lot better than I do, but I'm really humbled that you liked this tune enough to actually upload a video of it. I would like to upload videos of either myself or others playing my tunes so that I can share them with my family and friends.
Let me know if this meets with your approval. This is the URL I got from YouTube for my channel. I checked navigating to this channel once i logged out of YouTube and was successful, so you should also be able to pull up my videos page. I have to put up another video, as I've gotten (much?) better than the first video I posted, of "Amazing Grace"

Aloha @VickieD,
Thanks and no worries on the "dress code". I've cranked out another couple of tunes today. I've been blessed with this creative spurt. God has really been good to me these past couple of weeks. I'm getting to ready to post my latest tune "Skipping Down the Lane". There are a couple trouble spots, but they're easily overcome. It's a nice sounding tune, although I think it's maybe a little slow. I wrote it in 6/8 time with the eight note at 150 bpm. Check back in a few minutes and it'll be posted.
