Aloha everyone,
I have been absent for a while, but have never been too far away! I had some side projects that took my focus away from my fiddle, but I'm back now. I was able to pen yet another tune, one I call "Returning Home", albeit not quite finished, but good enough for now.
it's in A-B-A format, although the B part isn't as fleshed out as I would like. I wrote this for a string quartet (1st and 2nd violin, viola, and cello), and it works well enough. Perhaps I'm a harsh critic, but violin 1 has the melody and at time it seems to be a little muddied by the other parts.
Please take a listen to this and let me know what y'all think. I'm not to the point where I can record myself on this, but it is definitely playable. I hope y'all enjoy my latest tune.

Aloha and welcome IBUD.
I have been thinking about you. Wondering if you still are playing Ashokan? hint hint
Nice tune by the way.. I admire all the composing that you are doing and I like that you have something in mind for the tune.. such as Quartet ect.
Keep up the good work. To me it sounds so "Masterpiece Theater" Sweet.
* I did hear a bit of the melody getting a little drowned, I still like it.
Vibrato Desperato.... Desperately seeking vibrato
