When I started playing violin, I found Alison Sparrow's online lessons to be very helpful. 

She has a series of PDF's for download, for a price, these are not free downloads. I ordered the complete Simply Series of books today. This series of PDF's has some great, non-boring pieces of different genres, depending on which series you are looking at. They are in different keys, different rhythms and time signatures.

Simply Jigs and Reels

Simply Romantic

These are not popular songs, so you have to read the music. With the purchase, you get tips on the bottom of the page. There is a tutorial & Performance video on YouTube for each song. 

These are beginner, the farthest you get is 4th finger E on the A. So if you are beyond that, unless you want new rhythms, etc, these would not be for you.
