Have any of you guys checked out Noteflight? I've been enjoying it a lot recently, and thought (after doing a quick forum search) that I should spread the word.
It's just a small community where you can find all sorts of sheet music for free. From Lord of the Rings and Mario, to Depeche Mode. Given, these are not official arrangements, simply compositions written by composers in the user base.
Anyway, they offer a premium service "crescendo," but I've been happy just enjoying the free membership. That being said, there are certainly some features in the free version to be desired.
I should say this is not an official ad of any sort, and I'm not affiliated with Noteflight in any way, but I thought you guys would appreciate using this resource. It's awesome!

Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely have to look into it more!
Is there anywhere on Fiddlerman.com that lists websites for music notation tools and learning? I know a few were mentioned in the past, but I can't seem to find where and what programs! LOL

@Lost Fiddler I too have been looking for the Doobie brothers Black Water violin solo sheet music ; It turns out it was actually a viola solo, played by Novi Novog . But, searching for the viola sheet music was no more successful.
She played viola with frank zappa, prince, sheila e, jennifer warne, and bonnie raitt among others. Did you ever find the music? I think I'll just be improvising it with my band. gws
