My Finale is too old - Finale 2011frown. Can't open those files. To add a measure simply choose the measure tool from the main toolbar, choose and mark a measure if you would like to insert measures or just choose add measures from Edit menu as shown in the screen shot that I took here:

Thank you I was trying to find out how to add a measure and it works the same way on finale notepad.  I had the 2011 finale notepad and the 2012 can open the 2011 but you cannot save the 2012 in an earlier format.frown

Some nice work there, argy1678.  I like some of the lines and harmonization, especially the Nocturne.

I would have commented sooner, but up until earlier tonight, I didn't have anything on this machine that could play a midi file, since I usually use this one just for analog recording.  But I installed Rosegarden to work on some bits of score and suddenly I can play a raw midi file.  So I had to give it a listen.

Some very cool music there.  Are you going to use the midi to drive a sampler or a sound module?

i am really not sure what you mean there by ''sound module'' ( i am no man of the computers i have to admit ), but thank you for commenting on my work. :)

Oh and please tell me whether you though something did not fit. I am a total amateur and could use a little more analytical feedback :). If you think the melody was too ''thick'' at some points, please, be frank i will bare it :)
