Exactly, Bill. It's just a general party thread for the holidays, where we can exchange holiday wishes and anything else anyone wishes to share for the holidays. Music, recipes, pictures, anything like that.
Time to be "merry" and all that kinda stuff. LOL

Thank you Daniel. How kind. I have no recording set up.. Still ... I always swear I am done recording. I hope to find a place besides in the lamp glass or this time in the flower vase... Haha
thanks so much... 2015 should bring in better camera angles and recording. I am not comfortable on camera ... But I should have a good presentation. I will work I that.
thanks for watching and your kind comment.

@coolpinkone - nice playing, thank you !
And as far as the devil horns - here's my desktop shortcut that takes me to all things fiddle-ish....
What's even more disturbing is that my cellphone number ends in 666
Now you have me seriously worried ! LOL
Thanks for all your activity on the forum, and a Very Merry Xmas back to you as well
Bill(oops, where did that come from?)
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

Very nice playing @coolpinkone, @Bill, and @Barry - enjoyed all the tunes. Here is Away in the Manger from me. Had to play with the mute on as my husband is still sleeping and I have a very loud fiddle - still sounds loud to me even with the mute. Toni, I hear you on the set up - I need to work on that as well, my blank walls don't make for a very nice backdrop - at least you had a pretty flower showing. Merry Christmas everyone.

@VickieD thank you for that awesome song!!! So beautifully played.
Thank you for watching mine. Bill thank you as well for watching. We have a nice party going... Plenty of time to post more. Today I am playing holiday tunes and knitting Christmas hats for the grandchildren.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR
Here is the song I have been working on for Christmas Eve at Church.
"What Child is This?" I have recorded the tune twice (well actually MANY more times than that) so you can hear the difference between my A style mandolin
and the quieter sound of the newly restored Italian Bowl-Back Mandolin
I hope you enjoy them and the differences between the 2 instruments
