I was able to vote, everything came up under Fiddlerman league. But it was confusing--I thought only two separate competitions would be voted on, but voting kept going on and on. I eventually figured out (I think!) it was showing alternate selections. But I kept on voting and voting and voting, and eventually it said there were no more selections for this round.
It would have helped to know total learning time for each participant. It seemed some had much more learning time than others. And most memorized the tunes; one didn't. And most played just one tune; one played several tunes. I favored those who memorized plus played just one tune, for my choices in voting.
Good luck to the participants--thanks for submitting videos!

yeah, after loggin in, you go to the "battle" button, hold your cursor over it, and you will get a drop-down menu. If you sellect "judge a round" you will be taken to a page where you will select the competition you want to vote for (only one listed (only one going on)).
From there, you will see two videos. You vote for which of the two you like best. From there, you will be shown two more videos, and the process goes on. From what I saw, you will see each entrant against each of the others. Its a "round-robin" tournament style. This is, though most time consuming, is the best way to truely see which video is best as opposed to the simple elimination type of bracket. seeing each video against each of the others, in a way, gives you the opportunity to rank each entrant from 1st place on down, without having to try to sit and watch all the entrants and then try to rank them from memory.
I really liked the format, it will be VERY time consuming however, if the competitions grow much larger (and we all hope they do)!

Thanks, Jesse. I wish I'd had your explanation before I voted, though I think I eventually got it figured out; anyway my votes are cast.
And thanks for the great job on the Raiders of the Lost Ark project. I got everything downloaded successfully, and will print out the music and see about starting practicing.

I cast my votes for round 2. I had trouble downloading the videos to watch again--buffering just never stopped. I tried it two different times, first time gave up. Second time eventually worked and I could play the videos by waiting long enough. Didn't have that trouble yesterday.
Good luck to the contestants!
