Now that it's live, I can post the annual group project that I arranged for Marijke. This year it's How To Train Your Dragon! Here's the instruction video, with parts and click tracks linked in the video description.

The deadline is October 11.

I hope some of you can do this one!

Might have a go at this - I love that music.

Great work Andrew!!! 🤗

You know I love it, but don't know if I'll be up to recording anything by then.

@AndrewH  This looks excellent!  Not sure if I'll be doing Violin 1 or 2smile

Edit: Unfortunately, I missed getting something in on this--got over obligated with things.  Sorry, Andrew--it is a wonderful arrangement--

OK, I've had a look at V1 and V2 and decided to print out V3 in case there's any chance I can play that. lol

If it's the arpeggiated figures in "Test Drive" that are a problem, maybe also consider playing V2 and just hitting the first and last note of each arpeggio there. This is something Marijke suggested people could do when I discussed difficulty with her.

The main issue with violin 1 for me is the semiquaver runs that start in bar 34, but now that I look at V2, they aren't in that part, so I might be OK. It's only a problem because of the relatively fast tempo in that section.

Just about got V2 ready to record, but will probably simplify bars 99 to 102 in line with your suggestion.

I can kind of play the arpeggio figures, but it's messy and I'm sure others will put them in properly and I'd just get muted for that section anyway. lol
