The title says it all.... for those that are curious, use the forum search (advanced mode) to find posts relating to ITLAP Day 2016 and 2017.
This is just a reminder / warning that we may even get that fearsome pirate lass, Pinky la Cool ( aka @coolpinkone ) to join in - arrrh ye bilge rats
Folks can make their "pirate" videos ( any old sea shanty or, indeed any old tune will do nicely really ) and post here.
I'll most likely set up a SteetJelly session as well if we get a few folks to join in - let me know !

Thanks @mookje This isn't that fast, I'm purposely playing it a little slow so I can pay attention to my timing. If you look up others playing Soldier's Joy on youtube, they all rip through it way faster than I can right now, haha
Thanks @bocaholly I have been enjoying my elbow giving me a break this week (last week was a bit miserable). I've adjusted some things around my desk at work that make my arms stay a little straighter during the day, and I think that is helping.

Thanks for that Diane !
And nice work on Soldier's Joy @damfino - I like that version ( I have a somewhat different B part - but that's fiddle tunes for you ! ) - thanks for posting and working through the elbow pain !
Well done all !

Thanks, @KindaScratchy and @Mark .
And I love that video, Diane Thanks for sharing it again
@BillyG Haha, yeah, I think the B part I play is what is typically played by the flute players when the tune is played in an old time jam. My sheet music has it a totally different way, but when I've heard this played by the locals as the group, this is how it sounds standing back and just listening. So I decided to play it the way I always hear it, lol.

Well, that is no bad thing ! Play as you hear it.
Some of the tunes I play are recognizable to no-one but myself LOL ! ( Well, I exaggerate - but - certainly not as scored anywhere.... )
And that's exactly how tunes evolve, way to go !
