@Fidelestre Bravo... .both tunes.
ARRRRRGGGG this blasted blimey day came sooner than I had planned. Don't argue with me or ye be walkin' the plank.
If me gets myself together I might play a tune today... the only song that is fitting for me this blimey day would be Drunken Sailor...and don't ye be tryin' to get information on what Miss Pinky was up to last night. The wine barrel is empty and the coffee is strong and tis none of your business.
When I finally show up to this rat filled scruvey party, I will pay my dues... AYE.. don't blow me down just yet!!
Captain Bill...it was a good effort mate.....for those that missed it..come again... or the bad Captain Bill will black spot ye. That might be plank walkin' or the Cat O' nine tails!!

Avast thar Pinky La Cool, ye be talkin like a bit o' a mutinous bilge rat there, but that fine bit o' playing has saved ye from the plank! Ye be due an extra swig o' grog today frae the capn's keg, me fine fiddlin' wench !
Heck - life gets in the way sometimes... I will get something done !

Tis played on me viola, in G, a 5th down from its usual key of D. It not be one o' my best, but yer Cap'n be pressed for time these days !

Arrrr @Fidelestre - it be a bit o' a pretend-viola thar me lass. Tis "Hermano del Diablo", me old Chinese standard size fiddle, restrung as a viola. And I were a-using one o' they new fangled audio processing thing-a-ma-bobs to be adding some reverb and echo. Probably overdid the echo... LOL no matter... 'tis all about tryin' these things to be a-seein' what ye comes up with...
And @coolpinkone - avast thar, wench - ye already knows I be a fool for them batted-eyelids, fair makes me go weak at the knees. I be hopin' you not be a-plannin' some kind o' mutiny fer ye lassies to take over the ship? Arrrrr, I be keepin' my one good eye on ye!
@damfino - the day is NEVER over !!!! Take yer time and when ye gets around to playin' us a sea-farin' song, just be posting it here !

Avast thar Jim me lad, ye scurvy ol' bilge rat! At least ye came aboard willingly, and me crew didn't have t' shanghai ye. They tells me ye be havin' connections wi' that part o' t' world whar flows the fine River Tyne. Ye must have a Tyneside tune tae keep us amused... otherwise ye'll be a swabbin' the decks fer the next month. Arrrrrrr...
