This is the annual worldwide string project that I arrange each summer for Marijke Violin. This year, it's themes from Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. Parts and click tracks are in the description under the linked video.

This one features the viola and cello more than before, because Jurassic Park features one of the great viola moments in film music. Namely, the opening theme is first introduced by the viola section with a divided cello section playing close harmony. I wanted to preserve that, so there are three viola parts and three cello parts.

The parts are in order of difficulty, with the first violin, viola, and cello parts being intermediate difficulty and the third violin, viola, and cello parts being suitable for beginners who have been playing for a few months. The third parts should be quite a bit easier than the ones from last year's Zelda project because of the slower tempo. The main things to be aware of are the key signature (B-flat major to avoid awkwardness in some of the melody) and the tempo changes (follow the click track).

@AndrewH  This looks excellent! You did a great job on this score--

I missed Zelda last year--I'm determined to get in on this one smile

@AndrewH -

GREAT PROJECT, Andrew! 🤗

I looked it over & listened - easy to tell you put a lot of hard work into this!

I'm probably the only one that has an issue hearing the click tracks clearly - feeling I should be playing something softly when it's actually the other tracks I hear.

🤔... September 2nd deadline - this month is very crazy busy for me, starting this next week, but I'll see how things go.

Thank you for giving us this opportunity to participate in a wonderful Group Project!

If you need a solo click track that doesn't include the other parts at all, I'm happy to provide one. Just let me know which part and I can get you a solo click track within a day or two.

I updated the parts and click tracks in order to correct an error in the Viola 2 part. Since I had to redo click tracks anyway, I rebalanced them again so that the individual part is boosted a bit more and the rest of the ensemble is turned down more, which should make the individual part clearer.

@AndrewH -

Thank you!

I can hear it better & can work with the sheet music too.

Really appreciate the offer of a solo click track, but don't go to any more trouble.  I looked over everything again, and realistically, I won't have time to learn anything other than Violin 3 or Viola 3 well enough to submit... if that. 🤞

Sorry, Andrew - you did a wonderful arrangement and made it easier to learn, hopefully I'll feel better & be better prepared for your next one.
