Hello to all!

The purpose of this post is to invite the newer members to the group projects and parties.   Hopefully this explains, and if I have left some items out, I hope others will add to this. 

Joining a forum with all the new faces and stuff to read can be confusing, daunting etc....  I thought I could just let you know about the "parties", groups, and some of the other fun benefits of the forum.

Parties are thread started by the members.  It might be for a holiday, or a particular song.  So some might start a Waltz Party, Or a Talk like a Pirate Day thread.  All are invited to join in.  Most of the time the members like to post a video or audio clip and we "party".. virtually of course.  Sometimes there is a date in mind. Sometimes it is just an open party with no time limit.  (If you have a post or video.. feel free to revive a  old party thread and post your video.... Red River Valley, Swallowtail.. etc).   edited to ad:  START YOUR OWN PARTY Too!!  

Fiddlerman has the group projects and all are welcome to join those also.  He always posts all the instructions and materials.  Don't be shy he also makes it work for all levels. 

Member Group / Mini projects happen here also. Look out for them.  Sometimes the members get together and pick and song and play and mix it for a final video also.

Critique Corner - These are threads you start yourself.  If you are having trouble with a piece and want some advice, feel free to post a video.  Members will offer you critique.  Anything you are working on and want advice and feedback, this is the place to post.  It is an invaluable tool.

Fiddlerman Q & A - if you want to have a live video question answered, please submit a video question to Pierre and he might choose your question and make a live demo for your question.   

As far as the other threads, please feel free to jump in and post topics, share videos, youtube, and other violin stuff...even fun jokes!
