A while back I heard Ibud play O'Danny boy and I thought I know that tune, but I knew it as "He looked  beyond my fault" by Dottie Rambo. I had sung it for several years and had recently learned it on the Violin but I was unaware that the words were set to the melody of O'Danny boy. Upon reading about the melody, they estimate that the melody has been used in over 100 different songs. If my memory is correct it was written in the 1600 so it's enjoyed a long life of use. Please excuse the vocals they are bit ruff as I had a head cold at the time this was recorded.
