As originally started back in 2014 by @Barry - yup - it lives !
No more needs to be said - be there or be square -
It ran for pretty much 9 consecutive hours last time - let's make it 12 hours at least this time round !!!!
No need to wait for others to step up to the stage - just pick a time (making sure you do not overlap another "Fiddlefest" player of course) and schedule it, with "Fiddlerman Fiddlefest" in your show headline....
The "assumption" is that shows will each run for 30 mins - but - if you only want to do say 15 or 20, add something like "20 mins" to your show headline so others can schedule right after you if they want....
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -

@Leana - we also have a (now restarted after a summer break) fairly regular "Strings on Sunday" get-together on Streetjelly where two or three folks leap on to play a few tunes.... tune-in or join-in any time !
Anyway - check out the "Calendar" menu on StreetJelly and you'll see the folks so far lined up to play in "Fiddlefest 4"

@Leana it's so much fun. I just recently did my first online event last week and had a blast! We are kicking off a strings on sunday today if you want to pop over and see how street jelly works! it's a really neat application and it's less nerve wracking then playing in front of people because you can't see your audience lol....at least for me anyways!

@BillyG I will be attempting to catch a performance today and at Fiddlefest 4!! By the way, Billy, I love your pole dancing bunny! She really has her groove going, especially the way she tosses those long ears! Haha! I may be a girl, but I had a friend who made her living pole dancing so I know how much work goes into it! It is a lot of work! (Was always WAY to shy to even THINK of doing something like that!) The club owner did try to entice me up on stage during amateur night but I was GLUED to my bar stool!
Yes, I have always had stage fright! I did perform operettas as a grade school student but a teacher laid into me ROYALLY after a goof in a performance and I seriously became afraid to perform! I can overcome my stage fright if I am surrounded with people I trust who don't judge me critically! I could never do a solo in front of a concert hall! I would melt! Too many strangers!

Last year's FiddleFest ran for 9 consecutive hours.... We seem to have fewer contributors this year - but there is still time to join-in. Check the "Calendar" option on StreetJelly for the 29th, and pick a 30 minute (or whatever) slot between Barry, Mandy, Rockinglr33, myself (BillyG) and Georganne...(1sttimestar).... Go on fiddlers, you know you want to !
