I've been trying to get at least one SJ session a month, but May has been difficult - however - at very short notice - I'm trying to pull some EV players together for a combined session on SJ this Sunday ( 31st May ).
Now - it was originally intended for EV for folks to mess around with FX and stuff and to let us hear what they had - but that should not close the door to you "normal" violinists. (LMAO - so what has normality to do with the violin ? The two words should never be used in the same sentence). Basically, if it has four ( OK, 5 Dennis ! ) strings and a bow, feel free to join in, electric or not.
If you want to join the show, use the title "Together in EV dreams (xxmins)"
I've picked 7pm (UK time) so that's somewhere around 10am thru 1pm I guess across the pond.
EDIT: And if you don't play violin, or prefer not to perform live, come along and support us in the mosh-pit that is the SJ chat window !!!!

Just an update to bump the thread - we have four participants @Barry @cdennyb @coolpinkone and myself scattered across a few hours - and you'll see these scheduled slots on the StreetJelly site.
Mentioned before - initially intended for EV just to let folks "demonstrate their kit", give us some sample playing with different FX etc, let's hear what interesting, strange, and downright dirty heavy-metal/rock sounds you can draw from it and so on.... BUT - anyone else with just plain acoustic is more than welcome to join in and play us your party-pieces - that goes without saying... LOL

There are no rules - any there are are made up as we go along ! LOL Go for it !

Hi folks - thank you to all who participated in the "Together in EV dreams" SJ session, and to those who tuned in to watch. No need to apologize about your time-slot @cdennyb - daily life comes first, and on another day, I could have managed to stay up for your scheduled time, so I'm equally to blame for missing you and @Ripton !
And nice work @coolpinkone - you were really relaxed there, confident and "in control". Well done! Shame I missed the other sets.... there's always a next time...

LOL @Jim Dunleavy - thanks for being there, and oh yes, I fully understand.... I have already pulled a couple of "all-nighters" on SJ to catch our friends from across the pond at 3:00 / 4:00am ! LOL. All good though !

LOL - if you're normally an "early bird" that's not as daft as it sounds ! Just find "another half hour" after shower and breakfast and that would hit me around midday or 1pm - ish ! I am most certainly up for that !
