Think this sounds great. I had not heard till about 5 mins ago.. checkout the fretless banjo. Think these 2 instruments make a great pair. as do the muscians here.

Really great! Took me awhile to notice that it is a 5 string banjo. Banjo and guitar players who pluck strings always amaze me with their ability to not only play the right notes, but hit the right strings with the right hand at that moment when required! Fascinating to watch. My wife and I had the privilege to sit on stage with other overflow audience at Chicago Symphony Hall and be mesmerized by Andre Segovia many decades ago!

Have been noticing fretless Banjos popping up in my view since I started Fiddling - even considered one. (lol)
I really prefer all string instruments played with violin/fiddle - over piano.
...but, there is something about a diatonic accordion or concertina that I like - as long as it isn't too loud. 😊
