it got a new old tailpiece, tailgut, a new bridge, soundpost was rolling around but i put that back in place also, plus reglued about 7 inches of open seams, refit a very poorly fit chinrest, new strings and a good cleanup. About 25 hours worth..Im slow..but for $75 I couldnt pass this one up. Every day it is sounding better, it probably has been locked away for the last 50 to 60 years unloved. Its home now...

Glad it's has such an appreciated home now.  I'd love to have an oldie.  Sounded real good.

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
