I really enjoyed that. Thanks @ABitRusty
Here's another "foggy" song I enjoy. Quite an ensemble.
Earl Scruggs, banjo - Glen Duncan, fiddle - Randy Scruggs, acoustic guitar - Steve Martin, 2nd banjo solo - Vince Gill, 1st electric guitar solo - Marty Stuart, mandolin - Gary Scruggs, harmonica - Albert Lee, 2nd electric guitar solo - Paul Shaffer, piano - Jerry Douglas, dobro - Leon Russell, organ - Glenn Worf, bass - Harry Stinson, drums
Can't help but to move when listening to this song.

Our home business is killing me, putting in 7 days a week right now. At 63 it gets tougher each season. (Summer and Fall are non-stop.) My practicing has really been cut down and missed some days. I also went through a month of bad gout, a skin infection, upper respiratory infection and allergic reaction to medication for my gout. That really set me back, too. I couldn't concentrate well at all. I don't feel like I made any real practice for that whole month. Gout and other health issues are under control now (fingers crossed), and I am now carving out some time every day...at least a little bit. Seems like I've been working on 3 songs forever! Angeline Baker, Juliann Johnson, and Rock the Cradle Joe. Perhaps soon! Do you know, I have yet to record anything on the Q2n, except for a few seconds about 2 months ago?

Well dang Jim that's a tough month. Sorry to hear and glad that youre getting better. From what youve posted youve got a lot of irons in the fire so I can imagine it wasn't good timing at all. Hope things can smooth out for you. As far as fiddling goes youre probably going to end up doing well concentrating on three instead of just moving on to the next tune after you get the notes of one tune under your fingers. I think I could stand to do a little more of sticking to a tune longer. At least when the time comes you'll have a tool with that Q2n to record with.

LOLOLOL - (heyy, not laughing "at" you two @ABitRusty and @MoonShadows) - these darned tunes just put a smile on my face - made me happy, made me smile, made me laugh with pleasure !!!!
Thanks for sharing these !
And great to see another TASessions fan, I never miss it !!! Awesome !
And yes indeed, @MoonShadows hope things have all settled down for you there and things are getting easier.... ( hmmm, yeah, I can well understand..... Just wait till yer 67.... ) OMG, now I see that in print as it were, I suddenly feel old.... Duh... who cares... it's just a number - lots of this
and as little of this
as possible, is what we need....
!!!

Yeah - dunno if they still do this or not - but I collected a few of the earlier ones as released DVDs ( like years back ). Now, I just catch the later/newer ones live ( oh, well, not "live" - I mean when it appears on TV here - it's never not shown) and record it... But sure, I guess a lot gets re-posted on YT, and why not Yeahhh
[ Big follower here of Aly Bain - over may years I've seen him live in various gigs, local shows, small "community halls" - himself and Phil Cunningham - with a totally packed-out room (with probably not more than 250 audience able to get in...) awesome that they still bother to do that given their standing and reputation. Just freaking awesome. to them !!!!

Yeah. It was a terrible month or so, especially since it is just the two of us running our home business, and I don't have the luxury of staying off my feet. Hey, I finally opened and hung my new fiddle cabinet today. I posted a couple of pics in another thread. https://fiddlerman.com/forum/l.....5/#p101367

@MoonShadows and @Billyg glad you "old" guys are around so I can call someone an old fart...still wet behind ears here at 51. And yes the mind still sees the 20'S as well
And Billy did you see John Doyle in the video above strumming guitar? Even with the skill to do that wow what a workout. Id like to catch Aly and Phil or any of that group in concert. Need to keep and eye out for them.

Hey @BillyG You mean it gets worse the older you get!?!?!?!The problem is I'm 21 in my head and 63 in my body, but I'm sure you can relate.
LOL oh I can relate to that ! Sure - some things get worse, but even more-so - some things just get better-and-better with age.... trust me on this, it will all be good
my friend @MoonShadows
