Reb, I hope you haven't persuaded Barry to split the scene with you. If you have, we'll miss both of you guys.
I dig the type of music you play, whenever I hear your song's I always hit YouTube for other versions and then go back to your's and play along. Or try to.
Maybe it's just me, but from watching all the other video's on here, you are well advanced over most other players and I think this may be the reason your suggestions get swept under the rug, so to speak. Most of the other players find it difficult to keep up with you. For you, Twinkle Twinkle, is far in your past.
Whatever you decide to do, take care and I really enjoyed watching your vids.
Keep onna fiddlin.

Reb, I am new to this forum so I did not read all of your posts but I checked the last ones you started and I don't see at all what you are talking about! Fiddling is my goal and I really like the ideas/videos you posted even though I am still at boil'em cabbage down lol.

Barry, I don't know what it is that you want from us. You post your music we try playing it and enjoy doing it but for some reason that isn't good enough. If as you say, old time music is played differently by everyone then why the problem if Pierre sends in a video of his version. He merely mad it his own as is done in old time music.
I wish you well Barry.

Barry, I spent time to do the backing track/click track and then you go away again? The old time machine was better than me? So be it. I couldn't figure out how to download the tracks from that site either. Come back please or tell me a better fiddle player than FM. I thought he rocked out quit well on his version. He is classically trained and classical music rocks in my book of thoughts.
