Adjusting acoustics of violin bows.
It's easy and non-evasive.

The violin bow can be adjusted by putting a bridge on it. A small piece of wood under the bow hair on the tip of the violin bow. You can make it brighter and lighter, or darker and rough. Depends on the bridge height and thickness. You could try with piece of maple. I have done tests with these before. The tension of the bow hair holds the bridge on it.
A problem with it, is some articulations like bounding bows and also your balance.
