Hi, I'm kinda new to recognizing quality instruments, and have heard a lot about "quality wood", specifically the age rings. I can't seem to find a discussion about it anywhere. The violin I am considering has wider rings than others I have seen, and I was wondering what this might do to the sound, if anything. Please let me know!
