My main instrument is a 5-string Stroh violin, which is a violin with the wooden body replaced by a resonating membrane (similar to the one on a National steel guitar) plus a horn for amplification.

I have read and see pictures of one but never had the opportunity to play one an interesting

I have never heard of a Stroh fiddle, what a interesting and cool instrument!!

Where did you find one with FIVE STRINGS? 

I always thought they were cool, but was never interested in playing only 4 strings - you really caught my attention! (lol)
