I see MACJR.
In any case, you can always communicate directly with me for more personalized help. Also, please continue to share any inadequacies with me so that I may better our customer support.

Thanks

I will keep that in mind. I guess I never asked again because even if the Cecilio CVA-500s you have in stock are all one piece backs, there is still no guarantee it will have a good flame pattern (like my Cecilio CVN-500 has - even though it is a 2-piece back, it looks very nice). While there is no guarantee that a 2-piece back would have a great flame pattern either, a good 2-piece back can also look very nice. What pattern you get is always a gamble when buying online.

In the end, I decided the question really was not all that important, so I did not ask again. I just accepted that it was a matter of chance.

I am not even sure why I brought it up in this thread.

Anyway, I do have one suggestion for the Fiddlershop site though, about something else. There does not appear to be a way to add items to the wish list from the product pages. I have to backtrack to the general products listing page, find that item again there, and then add it to my wish list.

That is only a small inconvenience, but it would be a time saver if there were a way to add items to the wish list from the product page.

Yeah, I can see your web page person groaning at the extra work involved.   ;)

More links, more work, more things to keep track off, and the more things that can go wrong... and a nightmare when it is time to update links.

We actually don't stock Cecilio's because the margins are extremely small. We do what most retailers of Cecilio products do and simply drop ship the instruments. If we were to stock up on Cecilio instruments we would have to add that extra shipping cost plus feel obligated to look over the instruments which would add to the cost as well. We only feel that these products are good deals as they are coming straight from the Cecilio warehouse with minimal mark ups and are quite playable IMAO. We stock all other instruments that we sell and have an impressive inventory. :)
That being said, I checked Cecilio sales for 2016 and we have sold 3410 cecilio instruments and the year is not over. Cecilio is good for what it is but may not be the best choice for you.

The wish list is a great suggestion. We are working very hard on completely redoing our Fiddlershop site and the wishlist is one of the features that will be on it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, the Cecilio CVN-500 is a good starter violin for me. It is why I am considering a CVA-500 as a starter viola. It might make more sense to save up and just go for the Fiddlerman Concert Viola, but I like the idea of having a backup instrument, like I have backup computers (Never mind that it was my backup computer copy of Windows 10 that went all the way bad this morning, and my main computer is doing just fine right now).

Glad to hear that Fiddlershop site suggestion is being considered. It would be handy. I have yet to make my first purchase from there, but I do have a Wish List started, and I will start buying some of those things when my budget allows.

Some items are just things I am considering, others, I will buy, in time.
