Order placed, no problems, should be here within a week.

Testing out my shoulder rest now! Very comfortable, love all the adjustments. Only thing that doesn't quite work for me is the collapsible feet. I need to have them screwed all the way down for my short neck but when you do that the feet don't collapse, they end up popping off when you try to bend them. Thankfully my case is big enough to hold it unfolded. So it doesn't matter to me but it's a point worth noting. Unscrewing the feet 3-4 revolutions is enough to let them fold.
Other than that it's a great shoulder rest, it feels really secure and I think trying to work on vibrato was easier than trying rest-less (I've been without a rest for maybe a month but still not sure if it's right for me).

Mine arrived today, 2 whole days early so that was a good surprise. I will test it out tonight when i get home. Already i'm more impressed than i was with the Mach one, this one has some give and cushioning. I like the wood underside and the little fiddlerman inscription on the back is a lovely touch. I'll write a proper review both here and on amazon once i've played with it a few times and have gotten a feel for it.

Amazon tracking updated and says mine should be in sometime Thursday (today). We will see. That would be quite fast for Amazon. Looking forward to trying it out.

Ok, it made it in today!
Was it just me, or did anyone else think of the Harry Potter movie and Ollivander's wand shop when they saw the box? LOL
I'll save any detailed review for over on Amazon, where it can draw some biz.. But in general, nice rest. Definitely tough/strong and lighter than I expected from the appearance. The hardware and adjustments seem nice quality, and the padding is definitely more cushy than most I've tried.
It will probably take me a couple days to get the adjustments zeroed in just right, and I want to get at least a few hours playing in with it before I do the review.
Bear in mind, I don't usually use a shoulder rest for acoustic violin.. But I DO make it a point to use one regularly in practice to make sure I'm not missing out on something important. I think that whether a person needs a shoulder rest or not is mostly a matter of the shape of your shoulder, collarbone and jaw.

My Fiddlerman Shoulder Rest arrived yesterday afternoon, but I didn't get a chance to use it until today. It is attractive and seems well made. I like what you did with the Fiddlerman logo, I expected it to be painted on, but it's cut into the wood. It's very light and I like the adjustability, I'm still trying to find the most comfortable height. I already find it more comfortable than my current shoulder rest which has no adjustment. After I use it for a few days I'll right a proper review and post it on the Fiddlerman site, and Amazon. Thank you Fiddlerman.
