Hi all
I am new on the forum. My name is Ashwin from India. I have been playing the violin (Indian Classical) for 25 years now. Occasionally, I get curious about my violin, it's origins, and where it might have come from. The earliest record I can find is of a German pastor who owned it in South of India, and sold it to my then violin teacher.
The inside of the violin is inscribed 'Stradivari 1904', which could mean it's based of that design. But, I have no clue when it was made or by whom. Any help in this regard would be of great help. I will try posting some pictures of the instrument shortly.
Thanks
