The study came from this book: http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/.....5110570.  Double Stop studies for the Violin Op. 96 by Richard Hofmann.

 

It starts off with a third on the lower two strings - D# and C.  The next two notes are slow open G's.  The 4th is a repetition of the first third.  The fifth note is another third on the same D and G strings, this time with the second and fourth finger.

 

Can somebody scan me a copy of the sheet music, or play out the rest of the song for me?

Much thanks!  I'm going to continue rummaging through my stuff now...
