The past week has been scorching hot in my area. I would like to inquire how to keep my violin under control temperature and humidify wise during these sweating conditions. I've heard about dampits and using sponges in your case/violin to keep the humidity under camuseontrol? Thanks in advance!

A dampit is good if the air is dry. I don't really like the idea of keeping a moist sponge in your case.

Keep your violin in the driest places available to you which generally means air conditioned.  Your violin won't sweat if you don't!

And certainly do not leave a violin in a car or other similar sun drenched area.

Fiddlerman's cautions also apply.
