Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard of John Sipes before, but now know a lot more about him! Lucky folks who own one of his instruments.

I had never heard of him, My family is from NC. My parents were just up there visiting family for christmas and saw an ad for this on public tv. I thought it was cool, especially the bit about his varnish.
