I finally let go of some cash and bought a set of Larson virtuous strings and a Lezner E string all I can say is WOW they project great and have a warm smooth sound and feel great under your fingers the Lezner E is by far the best sounding E string I have ever tried I have never been a fan of the sound of my E string in the upper  register until now!   Thank you Fiddlerman for the recomendation also the Andrea solo rosin is worth every penny it grabs the string like nothing I have used before.   Thanks, Mark

Master the Frog and you have mastered the bow.

@Mark

Oh  very cool.  I think Virtuoso's will be my next string purchase.  I have new strings on all violins now... but I can't wait to try the Vituoso's.  Using Larsen regular now.

I also will be wanting to try the FM strings on my acoustic some day...

String and Rosin.. our musical accessories... fun fun fun.
