Interesting video of the Baroque violin. 

I think the Baroque was played with chin on right side of tailpiece IF the chin was used at all.

Has slight touch of viola sound which is easy to listen to.

Wow, I'm learning something new here everyday. Sounds real nice.

 

In case you don't know Barry. Fiddlerman posted on another thread how to change Youtube URLs so we can see the videos in full screen. You just take out the "watch?v=" and replace with"/v/".

Thanks for sharing those videos. I had no clue on the difference how violins had evolved.

Great tip. I'm glad that you informed me about that. I think many users are slightly bothered by the 2/3rds video you get to see embedded here. This is even better than them visiting YouTube to see the whole picture. I like the possibility to embed on site.
