Hey! I saw this documentary by chance and wish to share with all of you.

Anyway, I have always thought that these violins sound 'magical', simply because they are old and seasoned over the centuries.

This is what Martin Guitars believed in, and came up with Torrefaction process to reproduce the special tones previously reserved for vintage instruments.

Thanks for sharing fulfillingsoul. I found the video really  interesting. Would like to see a real Strad or Guarneri one day, even if it's behind glass.
