I feel like it is similar to this one:

I tried this chin-rest and I love it. The highest model was the one I tried.

@FM, wow! ya, that looks like the kreddle! except that the kreddle uses a ball and socket joint for 360 degree movements...hmm...I also have heard of "Menuhin chinrests", of course named after Yehudi because he sponsored it, which is quite like this moving chinrests....

I use a basic generic chinrest so I cant really relate to all these chinrest issues. Maybe I'm missing something, or just lucky not to have to worry about it!?

donate $75 or more and he'll send you one and a cloth to clean your instrument with and get on the list of doners and "...go down in history.."

go to his website here:

http://www.kickstarter.com/pro.....rest-for-v

scroll down about 1/2 way and to the right side you'll see the donation levels of participation and they describe the content of goodies you get for that amount.

@denny, ya, i think it's cheaper if one had donated $75 because i think that the final price when it is marketed would be higher......unfortunately, donating is over......

@ Oz, try contacting him via his web site or email link and see if he refuses your money. ROTFLMAO.

I bet if you ask, he'll be more than happy to accept contributions and put you down for a rest in reward for being a major contributor.
