It's here....all safe and sound, I was out and hubby brought it in thinking I had made a purchase....got home to the dogs jumping around in pink packing peanuts, and an interrogation - the grandkids were super excited, told him it was just like a "Flat Stanley"....hubby laughed when he thought a bottle of crown was in there, commented that I might need some to play it on camera......well wrapped - thanks Cid...will get stuff up asap...
I added the Crown bag to carry the shoulder rest in. There's no where to put it inside the case.

Took it with me to a quick meeting...and ran across the street to get this pic. Started playing this morning, it actually sounds really good, well the fiddle, not so much my playing...trying to get at least 1 tune down all the way through....the grands will be over tomorrow to video, I'm sure we'll have a giggle...

Yeah, so I probably should have waited to post Ridge's video, cause the bar kinda got set really high!
....so I'm gonna bring it back down!!!!....this morning I found myself on my own and thought what the heck...I've been trying to play this tune for a few weeks, and if I don't do it now I might forget it, or get too nervous, so 4 coffees later, and thinking all you guys are way too nice to ever say anything awful to discourage me, and if I don't just do it I just never will....almost got it down....I hope!....(ignore first part, I never know when to start!)

Great stuff @Mimi Aysha - nicely done! And it's always cool to see other "guest players" get a shot of the Traveller - don't forget to get Ridge to sign her as well - we've done that in the past. Thanks for the two fine videos
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

Oh yes, I too love Ookpic Waltz (and your slides.) I'm going to add the slide in my playing of it now lol. Good job.
That kid can PLAY!

Thanks @bocaholly It was mind of a joint idea with Fiddlerman (mostly Fiddlerman) because there was so much weight added fo shipping and it was requiring such a big box. The tail on a bluebird statue was already broken off. I would suggest, however that not only not including anything that is to be eaten, that no liquids, gels, etc be added as a memento. It was fun looking through it and seeing the items left by those I “see” here regularly.I hope the walk through video is posted here. I don’t do Facebook.
Lol I was actually the one that asked him if we could send the mementos to his new shop. I didn't get around to it when I had it (newly wed and all).

Thank you Cid - So glad you put this up again - felt like an idiot as couldn't find this to add onto...
I started jan 2018...with Suzuki book 1, so over 2 years now....on and off along with life! I tickled with it for about 6 months a few years back and learnt to read basic music notes with essential elements and my little $75 electric off amazon! - had to take a break for a few years with RA, (could not get a grip to hold fiddle or bow in place) but with new doc, and new meds, and my hubby treated me to a real violin! - I can use my fingers again - woo hoo!
Ridge signed it, gave me some tips on the song....he was just messing....my fav song that he plays. I officially started lessons with him last week...so excited, such a sweetheart, and a very talented young man.
I had hoped to run down to the old stockyards, but they closed most of it...hopefully it'll all open back up again soon and I can hit up some landmarks.
