We (Fiddlershop) can create a label in which case you get a super price on the shipping. I believe it would cost you around $20. I'll let you know after we send it to Jols, but it depends on the distance, speed, and if we add insurance.

Having a little help with shipping would make hosting 'The Traveler' EVEN MORE ENTICING!
I'd like to plan on it, but much later in the year.
🤔... will be terribly weird playing on only 4 strings - like if I broke a couple of mine. 😳😄

@Kennon - It won't be much and you only need to pay to ship it to the next person. Jols will ship it to you after her month, or at an agreed upon time.

So weird, I stopped receiving email notifications for this thread even though I subscribed to it! I was beginning to think nobody cared when I didn't hear about any replies to my last post, haha.
@Fiddlerman - I got so excited about that packing video on social media. I was like, "I'm the host they were talking about. Wheee!" 
BTW, any specific rules I should know about? I might not have been doing a great job of searching around, but I couldn't find any details on this forum or the community violin page for it. Like:
- How long should/can The Traveler stay with me?
- What I am allowed (or not allowed) to do while I have her with me?
- Do y'all prefer I post my updates on this forum thread, or the dedicated Traveling Violin page?
- Instructions for sending to the next host (it sounds like it will most likely be @Kennon ? 
)

I think the videos are posted right in this thread or in the Shared, and use Traveller Fiddle or whatever in the title, but I am not sure. This is the Traveler topic, so you don't start another Traveler Topic. I am sure Fiddlerman will let you know.
This topic loads really slow for me because it is so long, so I didn't look back to previous posts, but you could look back through previous pages and see if they are posted in earlier pages, if not in earlier posts, they are most likely in the Shared Videos in their individual own topic.
It takes too long for this thread to load for me to scroll back to earlier pages. I can't remember where I posted my videos. I think they are in this thread.
It will be wonderful to see her in action again.

For now, I'd say 1 month, give or take a bit..... We don't a long list. I think Kennon is the only one. If he's not in a hurry, hold on to her a bit longer. Normally we say one month.

You're allowed to do anything you want with her. No rules that I can think of.

You can do them here, but at the end of your hosting, you can send me images and or videos and I'll upload them on that page.

@Mouse Yeah, trying to go through 112 pages of posts in this thread when it loads very slow is not ideal!

Hi y'all! I haven't found the time - yet - to create and post videos. But I wanted to update you with how The Traveler has been doing!
She arrived May 8th and I was so excited to see her that I opened at the first opportunity. The box was so neatly packed that everything was in great condition! I am such a tiny person though, so I had to make some slight adjustments to make The Traveler more comfortable for me to play. Specifically, I swapped the chinrest with a very flat one and I have been using my own Bon Musica shoulder rest. I promise to put everything back the way it was when I'm done!
I attended my 2nd Wernick Jam Camp last weekend in Cumming, GA and I took her with me. I was the only fiddler participant in a roomful of guitarists, banjoists, and mandolinists, LOL.
She definitely sparked a lot of curiosity among the group. One thought I was in the army because of some of the patches on the case. Another thought the signatures on her were from famous people. Everyone thought that a traveling community fiddle was such a cool idea.
I only managed to snap a few photos, unfortunately, because I was too engaged with the sessions.
(I am embarrassed to say I can't figure out how to add photos to my posts. Once I do, I'll post them! I tried pasting them but they won't show. )

@Jols, I just emailed you a link with instructions on how to attach photos. If the link I emailed does not work, there is a section with Forum Assistance in the Breakroom. The instructions for adding photo attachments can be found there.
I did not want to add it to the Traveler info, plus, I would have had to reload the page, and it takes about 10 minutes for it to load for me. 😂
