The unboxing vid is rendering now and I'll upload once it's done.
Meanwhile, I'm doing a few tunes in the kitchen; the weather looks good for tomorrow so planning an outing to the park.
Loving the sound and play-ability of the traveller - it's made me realise that my own fiddle's nut is too high.

We were travelling today - so we're not long back at "home number 1" - good to hear she arrived safely.... I heard her muttering something as I closed the lid on her case - I didn't quite make it out - it was something like "I'm sad to be leaving that awesome Scotsman"... but it could have been "I'm glad to be leaving that awful Scotsman"... not sure ...

Pity I messed up the B section of this and there wasn't enough 'dry' time to do a retake. I'm quite pleased with the video overall though. 🙂

The weather forecast is all over the place at the moment. Today it wasn't supposed to rain 'till the afternoon, but it started at 10am (just as I was finishing up that video!).
This morning when I looked at the forecast for the rest of the week it was rain, rain, rain, but now it says warm with no rain. Go figure.My take is that it could do anything and the best bet is to look out of the window on the day lol.

Thanks for the videos, Jim! Mr. Scratchy and I enjoyed watching you unpack it. I loved seeing the stickers that I put on the case and my signature on the fiddle, though it's starting to fade.
Loved your Swallowtail Jig video. In addition to your playing, I liked your use of "B roll" shots of swans and people walking in the park.
When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,
I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.

Thanks @KindaScratchy. It's been great fun looking through all the souvenirs and reading the signatures and comments people have written on the fiddle.

I can't believe it, I missed that video. Thanks for pointing it out.
