Sounds like the Traveling fiddle is getting a good workout! Looking forward to more videos, Mark... and thanks for the public revival!

I have had the opportunity to play the traveler some every day, had the wife's sister and husband visit us a few days and the weather has been lees that favorable for playing out side.

Made a couple of videos in the entry way of the little country church I attend, more adventures to follow.

Ahh, man !  great to hear The Traveler again, and good work - nice double stops and I love the room reverb !  Just right ! ( I assume it was natural room reverb and not post processed? ) -   She sounds just great !!!!

Thank you @Mark   thumbs-upclapclapclapdancinbunny

Cid, Mookje, Billy, Ripton, Scrap, Bocaholly,

Thanks, there a couple of my favorite songs to play and sing.

I tell folks the entry way had the best acoustics of all the rooms in the building (which it does) and I have claimed it as my personal concert hall! violin-student

Bocaholly, it was just me, myself and I that time some one to run the camera would have been nice

Billy, the recording exaggerated the room reverb a bit, there was no post reverb added it was untouched.

Thanks,

Mark

Great job Mark.

You get two badges and I sent you a short-code to mark the traveler page map.

Looking forward to seeing your location on that map.

@Mark    cheerleaderviolin-1260 That was FANTASTIC! I so loved the videos you have posted with this marvelous violin! There is something about listening to a violinist play out of pure love for the instrument. It does not matter the playing level, that love comes through and it is pure joy to listen to. And I am not saying you are not at a high level, because you are. Such purity that is not found in the concerts where people pay big bucks to watch. That purity is the love of the instrument you are playing. Some of that love leaves when it becomes your job. I hope you all get gist. I will quit while I might be ahead! 😁

The love of the music and the love of that Traveling Fiddlerman Community Violin. I was in tears with “Hallelujah”. I will be watching this over and over.

Thank you, Mark!

I really enjoyed your playing, Mark. I particularly liked Hallelujah; it sent shivers up my spine, such a beautiful song. thumbs-up

Can someone tell me where to find the Traveler Map page? Is it on one of the pages within this thread? I would like to see where The Traveler has been. Thanks.

What a neat idea. I've seen posts since I joined the forum about The Traveling Fiddle, but haven't really looked closely at the thread. I just spent the past hour or so looking at the pictures, listening to the recordings, and reading a lot of the comments. I even made a small post about it to my blog. (https://fiddlingforolderfolks......ng-fiddle/) What a connection to each other and this forum you all must feel who have hosted the Traveling Fiddle. And, how much fun it must be for all the members to follow this symbol of such a fine community of folks. Now, I'll be sure to follow this adventure, too.
