Our Kokomo?

I'm getting old and don't remember if I mentioned her here. 🙂

BEAUTIFUL @Fiddlerman

Is that the boat where you were playing your violin that you posted on Facebook?

This is probably the one. I've also played on some other boats from our clubs raft-ups but don't think I posted any on Facebook.

This is on our own Fountaine Pajot Catamaran, "Kokomo".
Åsa (my wife) and I were heading to "Peanut Island" in Palm Beach.  We were heading downwind at about 6 to 7 knots on auto-pilot just enjoying the wind, water, sun and fiddle.

Too much water? Well, on the surface maybe not. It's an exhilarating feeling to be where there's nothing but ocean in all directions.

But when you're on scuba and low on air? Then you could have too much water. Been there (almost).

Bad times make for good stories.

Hello from Canada. Happy to report the traveler arrived here today, unscathed. Here are some unpacking photos for your viewing pleasure. I love all the Australia stamps on the box! Boy, she gets around!

My apologies but no playing today, sick with flu. Tomorrow!20190405_114953.jpgImage Enlarger20190405_115901.jpgImage Enlarger20190405_114959.jpgImage Enlarger20190405_115257.jpgImage Enlarger

Hi all. It has taken me a few weeks to get rid of my flu but I can finally talk without coughing. Here is a little video with the Traveller, practicing a nice waltz that I heard recently. I will try to get more exotic locations in the next week or two.

Also, I must admit I have been practicing my cello more than my violin lately, sorry to be a bit rusty!

Glad to learn you're recovering !   Nothing worse that trying to play/practice when an uncontrollable bout of coughing starts ! 🙂

I'm sure I've heard that tune somewhere...  cool, it's coming on nicely, well done and thanks for sharing your time with The Traveler drummerYayyyy !

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

Glad to hear you are well on the mend! Thanks for sharing that waltz. I don't think I ever heard it before. I look forward to more to come from Bragg Creek!

Hello all. I made a trip out to Drumheller, Alberta today and took the traveler with me. We visited the Royal Tyrrell Museum, which is a world class paleontology museum. It is located in an area that is one of the richest sources of dinosaur remains in the world. I am still uploading my videos, but in the mean time here are a few of the sights inside the museum. 20180806_103105.jpgImage Enlarger20180806_094850.jpgImage Enlarger20180806_103118.jpgImage Enlarger20180806_094843.jpgImage Enlarger20180806_102530.jpgImage Enlarger20190507_123731_025.jpgImage Enlarger

Here is a short tune. We could not play inside the museum, but there are a few dinosaurs outside as well. Please excuse the background truck noise.

Visiting some more dinosaurs. I played the Irish Washerwoman for them. They are herbivores so they did not eat me.
